The high-pressure sheet material known as HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is made of kraft paper that has been resin-impregnated, ornamental paper, and a clear melamine coating. High pressures and heat are used to glue these sheets together. HPL can be adhered on fiberboard or particle board using glue.
