Sheet Of PET Faced Plywood

PET surface plywood is plywood with a layer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film laminated on one or both sides. PET film is a thermoplastic polymer that provides a strong, long-lasting, scratch-resistant, and sanitary surface.

Because of its beautiful finish and functional properties, plywood with a PET surface is commonly used in the creation of furniture and packaging. The plywood is built up of many layers by glueing together a number of thin wood veneers. The PET film is then heat and pressure laminated onto the surface, forming a permanent bond.

PET faced Plywood sheet is more resistant to moisture, humidity, and other harmful environmental elements. As a result, it is a popular choice for outdoor furniture and packing materials that must withstand rough handling while being transported. Overall, PET faced plywood is a versatile, sturdy, and elegant material with numerous applications.

Quality features

PET coated plywood is extremely heat and moisture resistant, especially when combined with zero-joint, no adhesive edge banding applied with our hot air edge bander. To achieve a durable, dependable, and smooth finish, the material is put to a plywood substrate with specialised glue. This virtually eliminates warping and ripples. Painting is not required with PET faced plywood, saving both time and money. Environmental

A newly devised coating process has improved the scratch resistance of PET faced plywood surfaces.
Extrame mark resistance, flatness, and abrasion resistance; orange peel and flow mark are minor.
There is no colour difference: Colour uniformity between batches.
